KAY STEPHENSON ELECTED TO INTEGRATED JUSTICE INFORMATION SYSTEMS INSTITUTE (IJIS) BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

Tallahassee, FL – (August 2013) Kay Stephenson, Co-Founder, President & CEO of Datamaxx Group, Inc., was recently elected by members of the Integrated Justice Information Systems (IJIS) Institute to the Board of Directors. The IJIS Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uniting the private and public sectors to improve mission-critical information sharing. “I strongly believe timely and accurate information sharing is crucial to safeguarding our country,” commented Stephenson. “I am proud to serve on the IJIS Board of Directors and its Executive Committee to facilitate collaboration between government and private industry, which is key to successful information sharing initiatives.” The IJIS Institute includes nearly 200 member and affiliate companies. In addition to Stephenson, the following new directors were elected to serve a three year term. John Leonard, Vice President of Sales, MCM Technology Joseph D. Rozek, II, Executive Director, Homeland Security & Counterterrorism, Microsoft Corporation Bob Turner, President, CommSys At its first meeting, the Board elected Michael Davis, Appriss, as the new Chairman of the Board and David Usery, URL Integration, as the new Vice Chairman. George Cruse, IBM, continues as Treasurer, while Matthew D’Alessandro, Motorola Solutions was elected Secretary. The four officers and at-large member, Kay Stephenson, Datamaxx Group, Inc., along with Executive Director, Steve Ambrosini, will serve on the Executive Committee of the Board.
