Datamaxx Applied Technologies, Inc. is seeking dedicated and motivated technical support / customer service specialists looking to work with one of the leading developers of public safety and security solutions. Candidate must provide exceptional customer service on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities: This position is responsible for daily front line technical support of our customers via email and telephone as well as troubleshooting a variety of technical and non-technical issues our customers may experience. The position provides technical support for level one and two escalation issues via helpdesk and performs other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Required Experience: The successful candidate will have knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft SQL, TCP/IP communications and Web/Wireless technologies; experience with documenting procedures in a call tracking system and the ability to troubleshoot and articulate technical procedures as needed. Candidate must have the ability to work well with a team in a fast paced, constantly changing environment and follow instructions from supervisors and senior colleagues. Outstanding customer service skills and a dedication to the customer experience is a must. The ability to multitask and meet specific goals set by supervisors along with excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Must be able to work after-hours rotating on-call shift.

Education: Minimum associate’s degree in information technology or in a related discipline or equivalent job experience.

Datamaxx is seeking a talented, self-motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions and contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement software solutions using various programming languages and tools such as ASP.NET, C#, JQuery, HTML, CSS, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and secure code.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience in software development (5+ years)
• Strong .NET / C# experience / Web Development skills
• Experience with front-end technologies and UI development
• Experience with MS SQL Server
• Knowledge of MVC / Entity Framework
• Familiarity with multi-tenant / cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of Agile development environment

Nice-to-have Skills:
• Mobile development
• AWS / Azure
• API Integration experience
